Elia Brescia obtained his master's degree (with honors) and PhD in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy, in 2018 and 2022, respectively. He is currently a Type A Fixed-Term Researcher (RTD-A) in electric drives at the same university.
He is co-author of over 25 articles published in international conference proceedings or international scientific journals and holds a patent as inventor of a non-invasive procedure for identifying the parameters of permanent magnet synchronous machines.
His research interests include the design, control, analysis, and monitoring of electrical machines and power systems.
