Floriano Scioscia obtained his Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari in 2006 and his PhD in Information Engineering in 2010 from the same university. He is currently an associate professor at the Information Systems Laboratory (SisInf Lab). His research interests include artificial intelligence systems, and in particular knowledge representation and machine learning, for pervasive computing, cyber-physical systems, and distributed ledger technologies.
