Biography
He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2007 and his Master's degree in the same field from Politecnico di Torino in 2010. In 2011, he earned a Second Level Master's degree in E-Business and ICT for Management, and in 2018, a PhD in Bioengineering and Health Sciences from Politecnico di Torino and Università di Torino, following a research period at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester (USA) at the Center for Individualized Medicine.
His research activity focuses on the application of artificial intelligence to medical imaging, with particular interest in radiomics, radiogenomics, digital pathology, bioinformatics, and multi-omics. These areas include the study of integrating imaging, molecular, and clinical data aimed at defining predictive and prognostic models.
His research also involves the development of relational platforms for multicenter studies and biobanking, and machine learning models for prognostic evaluation in lymphomas and multiple myeloma, in collaboration with the Hematology Unit of IRCCS Istituto Tumori “Giovanni Paolo II” in Bari, the Italian Lymphoma Foundation (FIL), and the European Myeloma Network (EMN).
