Gioacchino Tricarico (IEEE and PES member) obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering and his PhD in Electrical and Information Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari, Bari, Italy, in 2017, 2019, and 2023, respectively. He is currently a Junior Fixed-Term Researcher (RTD-a) at the Polytechnic University of Bari. Since 2024, he has been a contract professor for the "Sector Coupling & P2X" course in the Master's Degree program in Electrical Engineering. His main research interests include renewable energy storage and generation systems, power grid optimization methods, energy and dispatching services markets, offshore wind farms, and the integration of renewable energy resources.
