Biography
Mauro Di Nardo obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees (with honors) in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy, in 2009 and 2012, and his PhD in electrical machine design from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2017.
From 2017 to 2023, he held various positions in both academia and industry, always dealing with issues related to electrical machines and drives.
He is currently RTT in electrical machines and drives at the Polytechnic University of Bari. He is Associate Editor for the IEEE Open Journal of Industry Applications and IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion.
His main research interests include the analysis, modeling, and design of permanent magnet and reluctance synchronous electric machines, induction machines for automotive and industrial applications, and electric machines with multiple degrees of freedom.
From 2017 to 2023, he held various positions in both academia and industry, always dealing with issues related to electrical machines and drives.
